Have a great day, play more music, and continue to keep your Android users happy. It's actually better than the original Jammit! That's my 2 cents. In my case, I was happy to purchase it for my Mac simply because its the best one out there. Your complaint about distributing copyrighted material also sounds a little disingenuous, as you seem quite keen to distribute the same things yourself. Their website is really clear about what's being offered and why, so it's difficult to understand why you sound so angry about it. The app does not seem to modify anything at all, but merely unpacks the JCF as a user convenience.

Yes, it's true that the Crammit app does download and play JCF files, but the original JCF files are also available to Mac and Windows users for download in their unaltered form so that people can use Unjammit, jam tools, and the host of other players and exporters out there. Well, you're not entirely accurate there. I for one had my JCF files backed up (and it is known others can be found for free), so will not give money to someone that only benefited from the jammit users to sell them back the content they already paid for.

One more piece of proof is that scammit used to have a package to purchase only the tracks (this was removed about two years ago). the owner took files from the community, reformatted them and offers them as content of the app. Worst thing is, this scammit is not even able to open the original JCF files (as opposed to Unjammit, Jam.NET or jamtools). The group owner removed the links to those original tracks and released his ap for selling, allowing to download the content only through the app. The cramit thing collected the original JCF tracks (copyrighted except for demos) from a facebook group where users could find the content they had purchased. Unjammit would be the best alternative there. It's important for people to know what they are buying. You are correct that it doesn't run on Android though. I don't believe that Crammit sells songs or any other copyrighted material.

Somewhere between $5 and $25 per person may cover it. We would be looking to crowdfund this, since programmers need to be paid for their work and would be looking for small contributions from as many individuals as possible.
